"Using Figures to State the Facts: How the Agriculture Industry Uses Data" Click here to view the webinar How the industry of agriculture uses data was the subject of a one-hour webinar held on June 29. This webinar was organized by the Council on Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics (C-FARE) in partnership with the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA), and Montana State University and is sponsored by Farm Foundation NFP. The webinar reviewed how federal budget cuts are changing the nature of data collection and data use. A panel of four speakers provided perspectives on how agricultural statistics are used by the food and fiber sectors, and how the changing nature of data collection, distribution and availability will impact the industry.
