On Wednesday, October 11th the Southern Agricultural Economics Association (SAEA) and the Council on Food, Agricultural, and Resource Economics (C-FARE) held a webinar addressing an overview of the next Farm Bill.
With federal budgets tightening and the needs to feed a growing population increasing, what are some of the issues at stake in the next Farm Bill discussion? This webinar will bring industry, government specialists and academic researchers together to outline the debate that will shape American Farm Policy in the coming years.
Speakers included: Dr. Joe Outlaw, Texas A&M University, Dr. John Anderson, American Farm Bureau Federation, Dr. Brad Lubben, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Dr. Robert Dismukes, USDA Economic Research Service.
