Federal Competitive Grants:  A Review of Funding Sources

 

The Council on Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics (C-FARE), and the National Association of Agriculture Economics Administrators (NAAEA) will be holding a  Saturday pre-conference to educate members of the agricultural economics profession about 1) sources of competitive research funding across the federal system, (including non-traditional sources) and 2) strategies that will emphasize agency and program specific projects to increase the likelihood of funding through non-traditional agencies.

Provide information special to economists who have not applied for NIH grants in the past.

Chaired by Mary Marchant -two past NRI panel managers will provide advice and answer questions about the grant process and what you can expect after your proposal is submitted. Panel Members include Mary Marchant (University of Kentucky), and James L. Seale, Jr. (University of Florida)
